Well I really suck at blogging... I'm so far behind. Christmas was great. We did tons of stuff with family and the boys got spoiled rotten. I tried to really enjoy each moment because this was my last Christmas living in Utah.. So crazy to me still.. Big changes coming our way..

This year on my birthday I flew out to see my honey and I got spoiled.. We went on dates and hung out with the kiddies. They all ran and gave me hugs and sang Happy Birthday to me. It was sweet! I can't believe I'm this old already! I don't feel like it! I did miss seeing my family this year though.. It's hard going back and forth sometimes..

My Xav also had a September Birthday! We had a friend party at Incredible Pizza. They played games, and laser tag, go carts and we had cake and he said "it was the best birthday ever" So that was nice! I can't believe I have a 9 year old. Time sure does fly by.

He is still into Legos and he loves to play outside and with his friends.
He is doing so well in school, his favorite subject is math.
He is a great big brother and we sure love him!

This handsome guy had a birthday on September 14. I flew out to see him and we had a great time.. We made dinner and I made him a double layer cake. It turned out great! Our time is limited as we only see each other once a month So I cherish every min I have with him! He is so kind and works so hard and it was nice to celebrate him! Happy Birthday, Love! :)

Lots of exciting things have happened since I last posted and I'm going to try my best to catch you up on all of them! 1st up... I'M ENGAGED!!! Can you believe it?.. We got engaged on September 4, 2011... It is a dream come true! and I feel so blessed to be starting this new and exciting chapter in my life with a true partner in every sense of the word. He is beyond good to me and I feel so loved! YAY!! :) Not to mention I have had a crush on this man since I was 12 years old... :) Meant to be if i do say so myself! ;)

School has started for us! We are in year round school. My boys are growing up fast 1st and 3rd grade. They are so excited to be at the same school and they even get to see each other at lunch. I was worried about Aiden because it's a new school and he didn't know anyone but he seems to love it and came home pretty excited about it. I can't believe summer is almost over. Time is just flying by. Cheers to a wonderful school year! :)

I never thought it would take this long to find someone...
I never thought it would be so hard to find someone I'm compatible with...Someone I'm attracted to, someone who can make me laugh, someone who works hard, someone who is sweet and romantic, someone who is great father and just a great person in general...
I never thought I would be 30 and still not re-married... Only God knows how truly bad I want that! Someone to love me and my kids and complete my family...

Dating and putting yourself out there is really hard the second time around.. stakes are raised.. most everyone has kids now and that in itself makes things more tricky.. things are taken a bit more slow.... no one is willing to just rush into anything.. No one wants to get hurt, no one wants to take a risk, no one wants to end up in divorce AGAIN!!

And then there is finding someone you believe is your soul mate and having him live in a whole other state... Ugh.. it's hard!!
It hasn't been an easy road in the love department for me but I really think I have found the one.. he sees me for me! My crazy self and loves me and lets me be me. He thinks I'm funny, smart and beautiful.. He loves spending time with me and he loves spoiling me! He has taken me on so many wonderful trips and we have seen and gone on so many adventures in our short year and half of dating..

We have quite the back story too.. I have known him basically my whole life, since I was about 12 and I had the biggest crush on him and even had a picture of him in my desk drawer until I moved out of my parents house.. he was my older brother's best friend and I was the little girl who always came in the room when he came over.. lol.. Some would say it's meant to be... and I would like to believe it too.. :)

No one knows what tomorrow will bring and no is guaranteed a happy ending these days but I really feel like I deserve one.. and I really hope it happens for me while I'm still young enough to enjoy it.. Sometimes I feel like I haven't even lived yet and my life is half over.. It scares me! There is so much I want to do, but I don't want to do it alone anymore.. Im sooooo sick of being alone... I want my happy life to begin, damnit!!
I know I have so much to offer now as a wife.. I have learned so much and know myself so much better.. I'm more confident and know what it is I want. I know how i want to be and how much i will cherish every moment of our time together...

Very much in love and putting myself out there on ledge, hoping he will be there to catch me cause I've fallen...

This Mother's day weekend was a good one.. AshieB and baby Liam have MOVED back home!! So we went to Xav's game on Sat. and then pop gave the boys kites and they had a blast flying kites most the day.. Pop helped with my yard.. trimming trees and laying new dirt and wood chips! My yard looks SOO much better! Then he took me and Ash to dinner for Mother's day! Thanks, POP!! :) On Sunday

the boys gave me their gifts they made at school and then we headed over to Grandma's for Breakfast. Pretty good weekend. Happy Mother's Day to all the Mama's out there! Hope you had a great day! :)

This April our long lost kids came to town.. They were my practice babies before I had my own kids.. So they hold a very special place in my heart. The boys call them our cousins.. Jaylen is now 11 and Tyauna is 5. I have missed them so much and it was so good to spend the day with them! The kids had a blast.. My friend Chelsea came to Xav's game with her daughter Harper too! It was a good day! :)

Things have been going really good lately.. The kids are doing well... I'm loving work. I get to come up with products and things to go in a monthly Auto ship that goes out to our For Every Home customers. It's all trend driven. Each month is a different trend and it's been so fun to trend watch and get the latest scoop on colors, fragrances and patterns..
And yes, this Valentines was so fun and so full of LOVE... Things are starting to look up for Miss Stefy! :)

We went to Arizona again for my Doodle's (aka baby Liam) 1st Birthday! He is one! i can't believe it! We all just adore him to death. He gets pretty overwhelmed because we all want a piece of him. He is just too cute and we all miss having a baby around. We miss them so much! It was great to get together and celebrate his big day. Grandma and Grandpa Paul, Pop City, Us, and Kim and Jake came down and we had cupcakes and sang to him. It was so fun to be with the fam.. More Birthday pics to come... :)

You ever feel like you aren't doing a good enough job being everything your kids need?..
Lately I have been feeling like there aren't enough hours in the day.. It seems like nothing ever gets done.. The house is always a mess, laundry is always overflowing, kids fighting... It's crazy.. By the time I get home home from work and pick up the kids at 2 different schools and cook dinner and clean it up.. Im so tired and housework gets pushed aside.. and then when the weekend comes all I wanna do is relax... I need to get more organized and get the kids helping out more..
Sometimes I feel like I'm failing them because they are so spoiled and starting to show signs of being brats if you will.. It makes me so upset.. I want them to take care of their things and have good attitudes and appreciate what they have and respect me and know how hard I try and give them the things they need and want.. being a parent is hard and nothing can prepare you for it.. I only hope that at the end of the day... the bad days when I'm yelling at them to clean up their messes and the good days when things seem to run smoothly.. that they will know in their hearts that mommy does love them and that I'm trying my best to do a good job but I'm not perfect...

Sorry for the rant folks... now off to fold the laundry piled high on the living room couches... there is a pile on each couch and chair. :/

This Thanksgiving was a bit different.. It was the first Thanksgiving in my 30 years where I didn't get to see most of family.. Everyone has basically moved away.. it's sad and we missed them dearly! We actually skyped with them and chatted for a bit so that was fun.
Pop came over the night before and we started making Nana's Stuffing.. He taught me how to make it.. I was peeling the carrots and clogged my disposal and Pop took it all apart and told me to try it and water and grossness went everywhere! I screamed and ran away while pop just sat there covered in it! It was so funny. We got it all fixed and cleaned up though. The next morning I got up and finished cooking everything and we had a good meal. I'm getting pretty good at this cooking thing! :) who would have known! Xavy my VERY picky eater and stubborn child wouldn't even join us at the table because everything was "Gross" he said! GRRR.... so he had himself a pizza instead! The nut... We had a very peaceful day playing games and I ended the night curled up in front of the fireplace admiring my sparkling tree! Happy Thanksgiving!!

Halloween was weird for us this year... It was the first year we were all alone! :( The boys were bummed that their uncle wasn't there to take them around and we missed seeing the baby and wished he could have been with us to trick or treat but we made due without them.... It was a rainy night but that didn't stop the boys! I followed in my car and they went running house to house.. They got tons of candy! Earlier in the day Pop came over with lunch and we carved pumpkins. It was fun.. the boys really get into now and it's fun to have little traditions with them. Happy Halloween!! :)

So much has been going on that I haven't blogged about.. I'm not so good at this! My son Xavier turned 8 years old!! I can't believe it! Time has just flown by and now my chubby big baby is a tall (and growing taller by the day) big boy! This year we flew to Arizona to visit AshieB and baby! They moved and left us.. :( so we went down to see their place and celebrate Xav's big day! The boys had a BLAST on the plane. The giggled so loud during take off and landing! They thought they were so cool.. They each had their own roller suitcases. We had so much down there. Eating, swimming and shopping! (oh the mall down there is FAB!! ) I'm so jealous!! It was so fun and so good to see to my sisters Kim and Ash both moved away. Kim and Jake drove down and hung out too. Good times! Happy Birthday, Xav! Your such a fun, good boy!

Well tomorrow I turn the big 30!! Really?!! Where has the time gone? Am I really this old? I don't feel it? Do I have to act this old??.. ;) I hope not! Cause I don't I think I will ever act my age! lol..

I guess a part of me is sad.. I thought I would be living my happy life by now.. and have everything I want and enjoying every minute of it! But I am going to keep on trucking on..

Hopefully this next year entering my 30's will be MY year!!

We went to the races at Powder Mountain with Ashie, B and B's parents in August... It was fun to get away and swim and watch B race and eat the good food Margie cooks and laugh and tease Big Zoidian.. The boys always have so much fun and it was the doodle's first race! he did great and his ear muffs were so cute!

Xav's cool new backpack...

Xavier started 2nd grade this July... We are in year-round School.. We had a few little issues. He was on C Track last year and made a really good friend Jaxon and this year they switched Xavy tracks to A Track and his little friend got to stay on C. It was a bit upsetting for them to not be able to be in the same class but Xav seems to like his teacher this year and hopefully we can switch back to C track next year.
He also had his first experience with peer pressure/mean older kids! It happened a little younger then I hoped but what can you do. As most of you that know Xavy... know he lives for Star Wars!! So naturally when we went school shopping he picked out a Star wars backpack and lunch box. Well the 3rd day into his first week of school as he was getting ready to go he said mom, I want a new backpack. I said but we just got this new one. you love it! He said I know but mom I need to keep Star Wars a secret.. Some older boys said my backpack was stupid and laughed at me! I wanted to cry! It was so sad. He is only 7! But we went straight to Target after school and picked out a new COOL backpack for him. Kids can be SO mean!!

We went up to Park City the first weekend in July for Uncle B's birthday and we stayed in a beautiful resort in the mountains! We had so much fun swimming and hot tubing at night in our own little hot tub on our deck.. The boys had a blast and the doodle loved the water and was so good! We had to hike for our breakfast the next morning... but it was so worth it! I had the best bacon I have ever eaten! YUM!! It was nice to get away and celebrate B's birthday! He is getting old!! hee hee!! Old as me now! :)

Yesterday Aiden didn't have school... So we went on a special date with Ashie and baby B. We drove up to Park city and had lunch and went shopping. It was so nice to get away for a bit. We got some really cute summer clothes for the boys and new purses for us girls! We need to get away more often. Aiden is a great little shopper. What am I gonna do with these 2?? It has been one of those weeks! Actually its been one of those months!!!! The fighting and I'm talking actual fist punches these days... :/ is driving me CRAZY!! My baby turned 5 on Feb. 17, 2010. I can't believe it! He is not a baby anymore... *sniff* We had a family dinner at Goodwood and boy did he get SPOILED! Tons of art supplies and a little guitar! As most of you know Ash had a long hard road of in-fertility to get finally get here... We are SO excited for her and couldn't be happier! This Thanksgiving was a good one! We went and ate at my mom's with the whole family... then we went to Aunt Sue's house to visit with everyone there.. and home to finish cooking my dinner.. I have to say I was quite proud of myself.. It turned out great! I'm just sad I didn't take any pictures of my food! We had a good time with family and even Xavy ate this year! It is a miracle! For all of you that don't know... he is quite the picky eater and has never eaten Thanksgiving dinner before.. He tried a bite of everything this year and actually liked the turkey! Yay! One more thing to be thankful for!

Happy Thanksgiving! This year I wanted to write a list of all the things I'm grateful for.... So here it goes...

1. I am SO grateful and blessed to have a wonderful family who has stood by me through some of the worst times in my life. A family who lets me be ME and loves me anyway! I don't know where I would be without each and everyone of you!

2. I'm grateful for my hard working mom and grateful for this business she started so us kids could have a better life and I'm So grateful I get to work with her and for her and it also allows me to be with my kids when I need to be!

3. I'm so grateful for my pop-city... He gets me like no else does and always knows the right thing to say to me...Probably because I am the female version of him! I am always grateful for all the dads in my life! You all are the best!

4. I'm grateful for my sisters and their hubbys and would be lost without them! They are truly my best friends and even though I tease and bug the crap out of you guys!! It just means I love your faces to death!!

5. I'm so grateful for my Zoidian (aka B) He has been there for me and the boys like I never expected and really stood up when their own father wouldn't.. It means more to me then he will ever know... We love you!

6. I am grateful for friends who are always there no matter how long time goes by... Who make me laugh when I want to cry and take me out when I'm feeling cooped up! I love you butts!

7. I'm grateful for the house I live in and for the things I have! I'm SOO blessed and I think about this everyday!

8. This one might sound a little strange but I'm grateful for the poostain (aka my EX) For without him I may have never known my own strength! There was a time when I thought I couldn't make it alone or be a single mom and get through this horrible experience but I did and I came out a stronger, more confident woman. I know I can get through anything life throws at me and although I get down and lonely at times... I know in my heart that there is someone out there for me who will love me like I have always dreamed of... also without him I wouldn't have my 2 beautiful, sweetest boys which brings me to...

9. My sweet boys! I am grateful for Xavier and Aiden! I'm so grateful to be their Mom and be on this journey with them. I'm grateful I get to watch them grow.. I'm truly blessed... Being a mom is challenging and hard but I wouldn't trade it for the world!

10. I'm grateful that my sister Ashley is pregnant and having a baby in Jan. It has been a long, hard road to get here and no one deserves it more then her! I'm truly lucky to have her as my sister and I couldn't be more happy for her! She is going to be an amazing mommmy!

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and I hope you all take a moment to reflect on the things that your grateful! We are blessed! We went to the midnight showing of New Moon Thursday night and it was really fun. We all went to dinner at Happy Sumo and then went and sat in our theater waiting so patiently for our movie to start.. Lauren kept yelling out 45 min... WOooooooo and then 30 min.. Woooooo It was fun to be with all the teeny boppers screaming when Edward and Jacob came on screen! lol.. The movie was great! Way better then the first one! I will say I am a bit tired though! (guess I'm getting old!) ;)

My sick baby...

My poor sick bubba...

Aiden has been so sick since Monday.. He was fine on Sunday and then I went to wake him up for school and he was wheezing and breathing all scary and had that horrible barking cough.. So off to the Insta-care we went and they said he had croop and gave him 2 doses of steroids to help keep his air way open and he seemed to be doing fine by Thursday... but that night he came in around 7 and hopped in bed with me and fell asleep.. A couple hours later I reached over and felt him and he was on fire! He had a fever of about 103... So off to the ER we went.. I just wanted to make sure he wasn't getting Swine flu or anything.. It wasn't.. He still has croop and they started an IV and gave him some fluids because he hasn't really eaten in 4 days... It was SO sad when they came in to start the IV... They had to poke him twice and he was crying and he told the doctor.. "NO! When I say NO, that means NO!" it was so sad but he was so brave... It was a long night and we didn't get to bed til around 2 a.m. but he seems to be doing a little better today! Lets just hope me and Xavy don't get sick now and Aiden gets better SOON!

Yes, I know it's still early but Christmas Decor makes me OH SO HAPPY!! I just can't help myself.. Everyone in our family is just CRAZY about Christmas and we always see who will put up their tree first! Surprisingly my MOM beat us all putting it up on HALLOWEEN! That nut! hee hee... But mine was up the weekend after so I can't say much.. Some people think this is NOT RIGHT and that it is "skipping" THANKSGIVING.. But I love to see lights and trees to go along with celebrating Thanksgiving.. And believe me I don't forget about the things I'm grateful for and I plan on posting a new blog to share what I'm thankful for..
I love sitting in front of my tree at night and dreaming of the future and what it has in store for me.. I love pulling out all my ornaments and remembering who or how I got them.. none of my ornaments match and my tree is quite random but that's just me! =)

There is snow on the ground outside and Christmas music playing inside with candles lit all around but it's 3 days before HALLOWEEN! lol.. We invited Pop over to help us carve our pumpkins and the gooey mess began! The boys LOVED sticking their hands in the pumpkins and pulling out the guts! Pop and I got to work on carving and sawing away at our pumpkins.. My hand was killing by the time we were done.. But they turned out really cute and I even made toasted pumpkin seeds! This was the first year I have done this with my boys and we had so much fun! I love making memories and starting traditions with them...

As long as we have each other... we will make it through...

I have mixed feelings about this movie.. I loved it but it also put us in a funky mood... It hits REALLY close to home for kids with divorced families.. Dealing with the anger and hurt. On the car ride home, Xavy got really quiet and I turned and asked him if he liked the movie and he said yes, but I REALLY miss my daddy. I just want to be with him forever! I then asked what about me and he said you too, mommy. I just WANT US TO BE A FAMILY! with tears streaming down his face.. He then turned his head and looked out the window to hide the tears from me. I stayed looking forward because I couldn't fight my OWN tears... After a couple minutes of silence and sniffling from both us.. I asked him if he was okay. He said that he was and I then said Xavy I love you! He said I love you too, mom. I then said Xavy WE ARE A FAMILY and we ALWAYS will be! He said okay.. When we got home I hugged him tight and put him to sleep... he seemed like his old self.. But I sit here now with a heavy heart and tears ready to come at any second. Oh how I wish I could take away his pain! I wish I had better things to say to him! I wish I could give him the FAMILY dynamic he SOOOO craves and wants! I hurt for him!

So we are in a funky mood tonight... The movie is beautiful in many ways but just maybe too close to home for some..

I wish SO bad I knew the right things to say to Xavy.. I feel so helpless sometimes.. I wish he didn't have to hurt.. I know that hurt all too well and my heart breaks that my son has to go through it too!

Happy Birthday, Xavy!
I'm a little late on this post.. But my first born turned 7 on Sept. 24th! Oh how the time has flown by! He had his first friend party at Bouncing off the walls and had SO much fun! All his friends came and he got all the Star Wars Lego's he could want! =) Xavy has grown up so much and is such a good boy and a GREAT big brother... He loves to be center of attention and is always trying to make his friends in his class laugh! (sometimes this gets him in trouble) ;) He is loving first grade and is doing so good in school. I'm so proud of him!
He just started playing flag football and is loving it! He is REALLY into Michael Jackson music and makes me play over and over and OVER again! He has all the songs and dance moves down! He wants to be MJ for Halloween! It's pretty funny... You should see his moves! (crotch grab and all!) :/ hee hee..
I can't believe 7 years ago I became a mom to this sweet boy!

Now for some Xavy stats:
He was born at 8:57 am
He weighed in at 8 lbs. 10 oz.
He was 19 and a half inches tall.

He came out as independent as he is today! Never had any newborn characteristics. Held his held up form day one, always wanted to be faced outward. He was the biggest baby in the nursery and made eye contact the very day he was born! I can just see those big blue eyes looking at me through the clear plastic crib thing they bring the babies in.

Will this forever be me?....

I'm sitting here once again computer as my only companion and my heart is heavy tonight... Tonight we celebrated the 2 most LOVING people on the planets 40th Wedding Anniversary... 40 YEARS people! My Uncle Craig and Aunt Sue...Oh how I love them! They are a true example of what true love is and loving each other through the good and bad... And in the mist of all this love and happiness....I am sad.. I want SO much to be loved and to love someone who adores me and thinks I'm the most funniest, prettiest, loving person out there. Sometimes I just lose hope and get so down and get so bitter and then other times I believe and I know cause I can see it all around me that there are actual men who love and adore their wives and would do anything for them.. And as I sit here I feel SO alone and almost starved for affection and attention... Just a hug would be nice.. I realize that I haven't even been on a decent date for the LONGEST time.. (you know the kind where a nice man picks you up and takes you out and PAYS for dinner) Does that even exist anymore? I have so my hang ups I can't even seem to make out of my woman cave long enough to even see if anyone is out there for me... I hope that one day I will find him... Someone who just loves me for being ME! Someone who doesn't mind the fact that I will forever act younger then I am just cause I think I'm so funny! Someone who doesn't mind my weird and loud personality! Someone who understands I'm spontaneous and goofy! Someone who will love my sons as much as they love me... Someone who will just love ME, all of me always and forever...

I went to get Xavy's hair cut for school and Aiden wanted his hair cut SOOO bad! So I decided to let him get his hair cut. This is the first time we cut it so short! So my baby started 1st grade today! He was SO excited and I was a complete wreck! lol.. I made him tell me his lunch number over and over and made sure he was holding his papers he was supposed to give his teachers tight enough! Oh geez! I was a little crazy! Then me and Aiden walked back to the car and I took him to school! I get to work and I started crying like crazy! I realized I hadn't told him where I would meet him after school and what if I can't find him?? I cried and cried and my Mom sat and comforted me and told me everything would be fine...

Well I FOUND him after and he LOVED it and remembered his lunch number like a good boy! Everything is good and YES, I KNOW I'M A BABY! But HE is MY BABY and he is growing up faster then I want him to! *sigh*

But I'm so proud of him and glad we made it through the first day just fine! Love you my BIG boy! =) (Did I mention that he is a whole HEAD taller then every kid in his class?) lol...

This is how I have been feeling lately.... BLAH BLAH BLAH!!! There is NEVER enough time in the day to get everything done... My house feels like its always a mess and the laundry piles on my front room couches seem to just be getting BIGGER and BIGGER!! My baby is starting 1st grade on Monday!! Is this really happening?? Where did the past 6 years go? We went and saw his new school and his classroom yesterday.... He was SO excited and I'm sitting there thinking....He doesn't know anyone, will he be okay lunch? will other kids be mean to him? will he make friends? oh it goes on and on.... We went boating with the Wright's on Sunday. The boys were SO nervous on the drive up! They said they were NOT going in the water! But by the end of the day both boys went tubing and Xavy even tried knee boarding. I can't believe they did it! Both boys were screaming "FASTER" It was so cute! We had so much fun and I'm paying for all that fun today! Hee hee... I can't move! My whole body is sore! I find myself laughing at random times when I think of Pam and Steve on the tube! They hit a wave and Pam fell out, next thing we see is the tube sideways with Steve standing straight in the air for what seemed like minutes! It was so funny! I think Steve is planning his sweet revenge on us! lol.. We had SO much fun and the boys haven't stopped talking about it! Thanks again to our second family! We love you guys! =)

Since it has rained for almost the whole month of June... We have only been swimming about 3 times! The boys wish for sunny weather everyday! They LOVE to swim and are really good in the water this year! It's been fun and we can't wait to go more! =)

I'm a little late at blogging about the boys Graduation.... My babies Graduated from pre-school and Kindergarten on May 28, 2009. I can't believe it! Xavy is going to be going to Daybreak Elementary for 1st grade starting July 27. It's year-round school. So it's going to be quite a change for us! The boys will be in different schools now. They have always been together and this will be a big change for them as they are the BEST of friends! Aiden has one more year of Pre-school. I can't believe my boys are this old! It really makes me so sad and I know I'm going to have a big melt down when I take Xavy to the "big school" lol... but...
I'm So proud of them and all they have learned this past year. It amazes me when I see their math work and writing work! I have 2 smart little boys and I'm so proud!

I'm sitting here in bed watching Grey's Anatomy and thinking...

I am SO much like Meredith Grey..."I'm dark and twisty" I always kind of have been... SO much more lately then ever though and I can't quite figure it out! Til today...

I run from anything and anybody that is nice and good to me and run right for the fixer-upper if you will... Someone who will tear me down and not see me for who I really am and all that I'm worth and my potential.... And the reason behind all this...Is.... I DON'T LOVE MYSELF ENOUGH...I don't love myself! There I said it out loud... Why don't I love myself or feel I deserve any better then what I have had? These are all things I need to figure out and now that I have come to this realization I'm hoping to learn to love myself.... Who can love me if I don't love myself?

I just need to get out of this funk and see my own worth... I'll let ya know how this goes....Now off to my imaginary world of Grey's Anatomy...

The cute frames with handprints the boys made me

This year the boys made me a cute frame with their little handprint inside! It was so sweet because they put moons and stars on their frames because they know I love them! Xavy's message at the bottom says The other day she let me miss school and go to the zoo, she was nice.
Aiden's message says I like to go to the park and play and my mom pushes me on the swing.
They both told me I could have as many hugs and kisses as I wanted today!
I sure love my boys! Happy Mother's Day to me! =) And a big Happy Mother's Day to everyone!

My mama and me...

This post goes out to my mama...
My mom was always the "cool mom" We always got to do things even though she was and STILL is Extremely over-protective! She used to follow us whenever we rode our bikes anywhere and we rarely ever rode the bus! I find myself being a bit of a "freak" thinking of Xavy starting the big school and riding his bike to school even though we live right down the street from the school. Hee hee...
I used to make fun of my mom for getting so excited when all us kids were home at night so she could lock the doors and smile so big because we were all safe and home together. But I find myself doing the same thing at night ALREADY and my kids are still little! Oh geez! They better watch out!
Whenever my mom calls us girls even though we can see on our caller id that it is clearly her....whenever we answer she always says" Hi, bufficita....It's yous mama" In a baby voice too! She is so funny! oh and do you miss yous mama? Oh and how are the babies? They better be wearing coats! She is very loving and such a hard working person and I'm so proud of everything she has accomplished and continues to accomplish everyday!
Words can't express the LOVE I have for my mom and I hope she knows everyday that I love her and I try everyday to become a better person.
I know my mom misses her mom everyday and I want her to know that Grandma's memory lives strong within me! I think of her often and what she might say to me being a mom... She had the ability to make you feel like you were THE only person in the room...She gave you her full attention and you always knew without a doubt you were loved! She was such a sweet, and talented lady and she is missed so much! I think we all got our ability to love so much from her...My moms mom...I see so much of my grandma in my mom and I know she would be so proud of my mama and her accomplishments and I know she would LOVE seeing her be a grandma! :) Her memory lives within us all...There is pieces of her in all of us and it's comforting to see and know that....
My mom always used to say...your sisters will become your best friends and stick together and be good people and it has really stuck with me and I am trying to instill those things in my babies! I love you mom... Thanks for always being there...I know I can always count on you!

Brave little Aiden..

Aiden got his elbow pulled out of place and we had to go to the doctor and get it popped back in place! He was in SO much pain and HATED taking off his shirt. He kept saying "Please put my shirt back on" But once the Doctor popped his in arm back in place he was back to being Aiden! I have a feeling this will be the first of many trips to the Insta-Care having 2 crazy boys!

The little man had his training wheels removed on Sunday! He was SO excited and got it on his first try! Uncle B took of his training wheels and AWAY he went! On Monday after school he was so excited to show off his new skills to all the neighborhood kids! He feels like such a big boy! My babies are growing up way too fast!! *sigh* =)

So the other day I needed to go run into Target really fast for something and the kids were walking behind me so I didn't see that Xavy had put on his glasses and put his hoodie on.....Well these two teenage boys walked in and Xavy does the two finger point like he is doing in the picture below to these boys! These kids were SO hyper this day and it was so funny I had to stop and take some pics of their craziness! They always keep me laughing that is for sure! :)

Easter was a very eventful day filled with family and fun! Here is Xavy with his loot! He was most excited about his shark toys! "How did the Easter Bunny know I wanted shark toys?" :)

Hahaha....So Ashie, Pop and me ended up being the ONLY ones interested in coloring eggs! The boys went out bike riding so we had a blast coloring eggs and here I am blow dryer my little wrapper on my egg! We shrink wrapped it! Hee hee....

My cute magnet board and homemade magnets!

So I have been home all week with the kids on spring break and we did everything from Build a bear and going to visit Grandma at work to late night ice cream runs and breakfast at Mimi's Cafe....We have had a lot of fun!

I have been catching up on cleaning and my homemaking skills... Hee hee! I made egg salad sandwiches and a yummy chicken dinner...I even made homemade cookies! For all those who know me! This is really amazing....ME being in the kitchen! Hahahaha....

Well I got this cute magnet board from where else but the lovely For Every Body Outlet in Lindon (Go check it out) ;) And I needed some cute magnets for it. I went to a couple stores and couldn't find what I was looking for.....So I made my own and they turned out pretty cute! I feel so cool and crafty! :) Ugh! I can NEVER get the pictures where I want them! Why won't they go at the bottom!?? Oh well! Check out my cute magnets! Happy Easter!

I took the boys to get their haircuts since the whole hair cutting incident and Xavy kept saying "I don't wanna get my hair cut" He has been trying to grow it out and do the whole faux hawk thing and it was starting to look really cute! So he is NOT too happy about being practically bald!

Hopefully these boys learned their lesson! Aiden just got a trim since I was not about to cut his curls off as short as what he had cut... I think Xavy looks cute... He looks just like he did as a little bald baby! So cute! Hee hee...

Last night I went into the kitchen to get my scissors....
And to my surprise they were NOT in the drawer....
So I yell upstairs "Where are my scissors?"
Aiden gives me this weird look...Like Oh no!
And Xavy quickly goes and gets them and brings them to me....
Well we go over to AshieB's house to eat dinner and while we are sitting there eating I notice HAIR all over Aiden's shirt....
Hmmm....Why does he have hair all over his shirt? I didn't cut his hair.... Did he roll around my bathroom rug? No....
Then I look up and really look at his head! He had cut the front/bangs part of his curly hair off!!! WHAT!?? Then Bill says well look at Xavy's head I thought his hair was just combed down here.... Oh geez! XAvy has 3 bald spots on his head!
My kids had their first cutting each others hair experience! They both played dumb for a couple minutes and then came clean! EW!

I will be hiding the scissors from now on!!

Kids say the BEST things ever.... SO funny!
So we are driving around in the car and Aiden says..."Mom, I found a rich!" (meaning he found a quarter) Hee hee! He is so funny!

Then Aiden says... "Mom, I wanna be 14!" I say why? He says so I can climb a tree! Then goes on to ask me if I'm 14. Xavy answers him saying no, mom is 28! Then thy say Oh, no! Mom, I don't want you to get old! Oh geez! They seriously crack me up!

Gotta love these CRAZY boys!! :)

These boys LOVE everything about motorcycles, going to motorcycle stores with Uncle B and trying on everything in the store to playing with toy motorcycles, watching races...LIVE or on T.V. Xavy can actually give me a play by play of who is racing and what their number is and what place they are in! It's so cute! He just learned to ride his motorcycle last summer without the training wheels on! I love watching him turn. He puts his little foot out like a pro! He CANNOT wait for summer to get here so he can go riding with his Uncle B and Aiden is following close behind with wanting to ride! Oh the joys of boys! They are so funny! Uncle B just got them new jerseys with their name and number on the back. They think they are SO cool! More pics to come soon!

Lazy Sundays...

Don't you just love lazy Sunday's? I have been in my jammies all day! :) The kids have been running around playing... I finally got in my cleaning mood at about 8... I have been waiting around all day for it! Hee hee... But I finally got started on the mounds of laundry piled up on the front room couch waiting to be put away! I cleaned the kitchen and did the dishes and packed the kids lunches!

And now off to snuggle in my bed with all my blankets and watch all my shows! aw... How nice! :) Hope everyone had a great weekend!
